There is much important business to be done. And also please note that per Federal NDP rules you must be a member-in-good-standing no later than December 24, 2020 (45 days before the meeting) to have voting rights at the AGM and Nomination meetings.

Due to realities created by the COVID19 pandemic this will be a “virtual” meeting, either via ZOOM or by dial-in. Note that since the EDA Executive members will be in the second year of their two year term, there will be no executive elections. There will be matters at the meetings requiring a vote, but that can be done via ZOOM or dial-in. Instructions for the voting process will be provided at the start of the AGM. These meetings are particularly important due to the likelihood of a spring 2021 election call. Please attend to hear detailed NDP election readiness updates from Ottawa and locally. The special guest at our nomination meeting will be Federal Leader Jagmeet Singh, who will help us celebrate the wonderful work done on our behalf by MP Lindsay Mathyssen. Help us prepare for this important election, to ensure we retain this seat which has brought the benefits of NDP representation to London-Fanshawe since 2006.
